Guard 2000 är ett vidhäftningsmedel som används tillsammans med Mikroferm.
Innehåller 250 ml.
Mikroferm gör växter betydligt mer motståndskraftiga mot olika svampsjukdomar. Har visat sig behandla och motverka buxbomssjuka samt äppelträd som drabbats av Capnodiumsvamp.
Guard 2000 fungerar även mycket bra tillsammans med EM-5 och gör att dess verkan mot insektsangrepp håller i sig under längre tid. Tillsammans med Guard 2000 behöver man inte spraya lika ofta med EM-5 och därmed lönar det sig även ekonomiskt.
DOSERING:
Blanda 10 ml Mikroferm eller EM-5 och 1 ml Guard 2000 i 1 liter vatten.
BEHANDLING:
Spruta plantorna med Mikroferm/Guard2000lösningen 1 gång i veckan under 1 månad. Därefter behandlas plantorna 1 gång per månad. Glöm inte att spruta de nya skotten under sommaren. För att skapa en levande och balanserad jord, mylla ner Bokashi i jorden 1-2 gånger per år i utkanten av växternas radie.

Tester i Holland som det oberoende institutet Cultus genomfört visar att det probiotiska preparatet Mikroferm är mer effektivt än fungicider och har förmåga att slå ut den agressiva patogenen C.buxicola som angriper buxbom. Mikroferm är en kultur som består av fem olika grupper mikrober. Dom viktigaste mikrobgrupperna är mjölksyrebakterier, autotrofa bakterier och jästsvampar. Kulturen får användas i ekologisk odling och har förutom sin förmåga att konkurrera ut patogener en tillväxtstimulerande verkan.
Metoden som Cultus följt är enkel. Man har sprutat plantorna och marken under med en lösning som består av 2ml Mikroferm/L sam 1 ml/L av en s.k. “sticker” som heter Guard 2000.
Resultaten backas upp av ett antal professionella Buxbomodlare i Holland som med andra metoder också lyckats bekämpa sjukdommen. Även här är det Mikroferm som är den centrala delen i strategin.

The Dutch advise and research organization Cultus has found an effective organic treatment of Cylindrocladium boxicola in boxwood.
Cultus is an independent advise and research institute in the Netherlands . It is specialized in the tree nursery branch of agriculture. Independent research is done in several crops to gain independent knowledge for advising their customers in getting the best results for their crops.
In 2011 Cultus has tested a product based on micro-organisms on behalf of EM Agriton BV in boxwood. Since several years the fungus Cylindrocladium has become a serious problem in the nursery of boxwood in the Netherlands. As no adequate fungicide is available against this decease some Dutch growers started to use Microferm , a product based on competitive exclusion, to combat this decease. Several Buxus propagators in the Boskoop area claimed to obtain good results with the use of Microferm. Agriton has asked Cultus to set up a trail in boxwood to check the results of the buxwood growers in the Boskoop area.
During the summer of 2011 a Buxus trail was set up in a random plot trail. In the trail 15 objects were tested in 3 random repeats in three different times over the year. In the spring and summer trail no Cylindrocladium occurred due to the low infection grade. Decided was to test the products again in September with an artificial infection of Cylindrocladium. In the spring and summer trail, no effect was found as from neither any product as there was no infection. In the September trail huge infection occurred in the non-treated plot. Where the standard fungicides scored reasonable to good, absolutely no Cylindrocladium was found in the Microferm treated plots. It seems to be that competitive exclusion based on micro-organisms prevents infection with Cylindrocladium.
